The Everyday Austerity Exhibition was the culmination of two years of research with families in Greater Manchester by Dr Sarah Marie Hall, which gathered first-hand, personal accounts of everyday life in austerity.
These accounts were turned into a series of original drawings by North-West zine artist Stef Bradley, exhibited alongside field notes, sound-bites, and collected materials to ‘lift the lid’ on austerity.
This unique multi-sensory exhibition was open to the public for one week in July 2016, followed by a Ten Borough Tour of Greater Manchester in 2016 and 2017. Check out the ‘tour dates’ tab for more information!
